Pastor Donnie comes from a rich heritage being from a third generation, spirit-filled family. The son of a
Pastor, he grew up with one brother, Michael, and enjoyed part of his childhood living in the Tennessee
Mountains until he came to Florida in 1978.
Pastor Donnie had an encounter with God and accepted Jesus into his heart leading him to answer God's call on his life to pastor. In 1991, he and his wife, Lisa, began their ministry journey as youth leaders, then moving into full-time
pastoring in 1993. They have served as Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor and College & Career Pastor during the past 29 years. Donnie’s heart is full of compassion for people and a desire for them to experience God with passion and intimacy. He carries a strong message of “Living in the Secret Place”(Psalm 91).
Donnie is elated that he followed God’s leading into ministry. People’s needs are great, but sharing the
goodness of our Papa God gives opportunity for the Holy Spirit to work in their lives and meet their
needs. He has a heart for the poorest of poor, ones who are overlooked by society, to bring wholeness
and healing to their lives.
Donnie and Lisa have three children -Heather, Holly and Hanna and ten grandchildren - Ethan, Avah,
Rhema, Kairos, Carson, Brody, Ryleigh, Adison, Breliee, and Jayme.
